The Memorial Tower

Thirteen levelsof memory.

The Journey

Rise by lift. Descend through the story.

Visitor Flow

Lift up · ramp down

Levels

0 to 13

Visitors rise by lift from Level 0 to Level 13, then descend the inner ramp — a slow, continuous journey through the story of the first war of independence. The space works as an exhibition the visitor absorbs through art installations and imagery.

Contemporary and restrained, the interiors keep the content as the highlight throughout — images of the battles, the people and communities who took part, and maps of the campaigns of 1857.
